Turtles
Let's make baby turttles and set them free in the ocean!
Chamelion
This one sound better:
Now let's make The Mixed-Up Chameleon Snack Mix
Materials:
coconut flakes (or white marshmallows) for the polar bear
pink sprinkles for the flamingo. Because sprinkles make everyone happy 🙂
red M&Ms for the fox
goldfish crackers are for the goldfish, of course.
pretzels for the deer antlers
pretzel sticks for the girffe long neck
Green Fruit Loops for the turtle
dried banana chips for elephant ears
raisins to represent the seal’s flippers
paper umbrellas for the people
a clear glass or cup
And a good bye song:
Alligators and Crocodiles
Crocodiles and alligators are very different:
Lizards
Snakes
three or four toilet paper rolls (or a paper towel roll)
construction paper
scissors,
glue,
hole punch,
string, wool or ribbon.
Optional: wiggly eyes
Instructions:
Optional: Cut each toilet paper roll in half so you have twice as many, shorter tubes.
Glue a piece of construction paper to each tube. You can use all one color or you can make a multi colored snake (good colors practice).
Punch a hole at the front and back (two holes) in all but two of the tubes.
Those two will be the head and the tail.
Punch just one hole in these two tubes
Thread a piece of string or wool through the holes of each tube (like you're sewing them together).
Tie off the string at the head and tail.
Don't make the string too tight or your snake won't wiggle.
Decorate your snake further with sticker polka dots, marker, paint, etc.
Tongue:
Cut a tongue shape from red construction paper
Fold a small tab at the end and glue it onto the head (the front tube)
Eyes:
Glue on wiggly eyes or draw eyes on with a marker
or cut eyes out of red construction paper and draw an eye slit in the middle of each with a black marker
